SAEBR System “The simplest way into a better control system” Born out of the desire to have the best possible configuration with the AR-15 family of rifles, the patent pending SAEBR System brings just that with its never-seen-before integrated battery control device. The SAEBR augments the standard bolt-catch and release paddle with a trigger finger-operated mechanism placed at the bottom rear of the magazine well. Simply slide upwards to catch the bolt and slide down to release. This design does not remove or hinder any legacy control device but only augments it. We at USMGM understand old habits die hard and when under stress your body may fall back on years of training with the old catch paddle. Rest assured, that paddle is still there for when the monkey brain takes over, but for all else, enjoy the faster reload speeds and weapon clearing. Named after its features, the SAEBR stands for Symmetrical, Ambidextrous, Ergonomic Bolt-catch and Release. Its primary function is to be ergonomically placed and operated, intuitive and aligning with the AR-15’s ergonomic design. Operators will no longer need to “break” their firing grip to perform any bolt manipulation functions. The system is ambidextrous, for both left and right-handed operators, or for dire situations where the use of both hands is limited. An important part of the design is the symmetry – meaning what you use on the right is exactly mirrored on the left: exact position, exact feel. Benefits to using the SAEBR System include faster reload times, quicker malfunction remedy, simpler administrative clearing, and safer operation of bolt release compared to lever-operated devices. The operator’s fingers never move in towards the trigger which greatly reduces the chances of negligent discharge. Additionally, the SAEBR is not limited to one caliber or platform but will see its way onto the larger and smaller caliber family of receivers. Additionally, USMGM will make available the dimensions of the Finger Pad for 3D printing of custom shaped designs.
